Twin4Me, why?

I'm Grégoire Mathelin. I developed and built Twin4Me on my own — a personal project I've cared about for a long time. I've always believed we probably each have, somewhere in the world, a near-perfect twin — or several. Genetics still holds surprises: we're probably not as unique as we think. Until now, it was almost impossible to find them. You might pass someone who looks a lot like you — but how do you search for that person when you don't even know where they are? Today, the tools we have let us connect easily with people all over the world. So I thought: why not try? The site works now, and the project is ready enough to launch. I'd like to find my twin(s), somewhere in the world, and help you find yours. For this to work, we need numbers. The bigger and more international the community, the better our chances of finding astonishing resemblances. I'm asking you to help bring it to life and make it genuinely useful. It might look like yet another invite to sign up somewhere new. But Twin4Me is first and foremost a personal project. So if the idea intrigues you, come be among the first Twinies.
